Kristy Peet was born in Dallas, Texas. She completed her undergraduate work at Austin College and graduated with an MFA in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She is currently teaching photography and digital art at Montgomery College, Houston Community College Southwest and Univeristy of Houston.
