From 1948 to 2008, Polaroid instant film captured moments in time, from snapshots to evidence, banal scenes to hardcore pornography. It captured our first pictures with Santa, documentation of body damage for our car insurance, nudy pics, and everything in between.  Each Polaroid image is a unique art object unto itself.  This year marks the end of an era, the end of instant gratification for chemical photography aficionados.
